Give a Child a Week of Joy.
Send them to a Summer Camp

This summer, some children will laugh around a campfire— singing, playing, and forgetting their worries for a while.
Others won't.
Instead, they will carry fear, loss, and uncertainty - living in families deeply impacted by poverty, societal upheaval, and family trauma.
But one week can change that.
At camp, children experience something they may not have felt in a long time—
safety… belonging… joy.
They are cared for by trusted local leaders.
They build friendships.
They hear that they are loved—by others, and by God. And when the week ends, the care doesn’t stop.
Alla and Mary felt
love & joy at camp, but it almost didn't happen!
When Alla and Maria arrived at camp, they were quiet and unsure.
Their parents almost didn't let them go. Life had taught them to be careful—to hold back, to stay guarded.
But our caring church partners showed them how camp would be a place of safety.
By the second day, Alla and Mary were laughing with the other girls. By the end of the week, they didn’t want to leave.
For the first time in a long time, they felt safe.
They felt seen.
They felt joy.
And they heard something that stayed with them: they are deeply loved.
Today, they are still connected to a local church that continues to walk with them—
encouraging them, supporting them, reminding them they are not alone.
Your gift can make this possible for another child.

What happened after camp for Alla and Mary?
We ran a day camp for the children in Boryspil, Ukraine at Hope Church. One of the girls from the church, Ana, invited two of her school friends, Alla and Mary to come. (names changed for privacy).
Alla and Mary's parents were scared to send their daughters, fearing for their safety. The pastor of the church invited them to come and check it out. They toured the basement where all the classroom are. Mom and Dad were satisfied and allowed the girls to attend.
At the end of the camp, Alla and Mary were very sad to leave. They had enjoyed their week so much. They enjoyed meeting new children and having something positive to focus on. Their hearts connected with Jesus and they were saved.
The last day of camp, all parents were invited to come to a service. The children all sang songs about Jesus and prayed. The parents were deeply moved by the love they saw, and the emotional healing they witnessed in their girls.
