Give Christmas to a Child.

Share the Message of Peace & Hope

For many children around the world, Christmas holds no promise and no joy. These kids need to know that they are loved and special. We can re-ignite a sense of hope and joy in their hearts.

This Christmas season, we want to light up the darkness with a message of hope for as many vulnerable children as possible. We are preparing with our local partners to host hundreds of children and bring them some Christmas joy.

These events will bring families together for much-needed community. As they gather, they will be loved, they will hear the good news of Christmas, and every single child will receive a special gift that will bring the joy of Christmas to their hearts.

Ten Year Old Zlata Finds Peace at Christmas

My name is Zlata. My family moved from Lugansk after the war started. I was always afraid because the explosions never stopped.

After we moved to Boryspil, I was still afraid.  Nothing felt ok. Then Pastor Oleksandr invited us to a Christmas service.

At the service, we heard that Jesus came to bring peace and take away fear. People from Canada sent us a gift. I felt the peace in my heart. That night, for the first time in a long time… I slept.

Bringing Peace to Hearts at Christmas

My name is Zlata. I am 10. My sister Eva is 8. We used to live near Lugansk in a house we loved. I liked my school, my friends, and playing outside. But when the war started, everything changed. Explosions shook our home. I couldn’t sleep. I was afraid all the time.

When my dad was called to the army, we moved to Boryspil. Mom said we were safe now, but my fear followed me everywhere.

One day near Christmas, Pastor Oleksandr came to our door and invited us to a special Christmas event. Mom didn’t want to go — she didn’t think anything could make life feel okay again. But she brought us anyway.

At the service, there were beautiful songs about Jesus being born. We heard that Jesus came to bring peace and take away fear. People from Canada sent us a gift. I felt the peace in my heart. That night, for the first time in a long time… I slept.

And now, as Christmas comes again, our family is still trying to rebuild. We still don’t know what the future will look like. But Pastor Oleksandr told us there will be another celebration this year.
