Tonya's Journey Continues
When Tonya first arrived at summer camp, she carried far more than a backpack. She came from a difficult home where alcoholism, neglect, and uncertainty were part of everyday life. Yet during that week, she experienced something she had rarely known—she was welcomed, encouraged, and introduced to the love of Jesus. Before camp ended, Tonya placed her trust in Christ.
But camp was only the beginning.
Today, Tonya and her sister attend a weekly Bible Club led by the same ministry partners they met at camp. Through Bible lessons, caring mentors, and faithful friendships, they continue to grow in their relationship with Christ and discover the hope He offers.
For children like Tonya, ongoing discipleship provides something every child deserves: people who keep showing up, reminding them that they are deeply loved by God and that He has a purpose for their lives.
